The Eastern Shore is located between the eastern side of the Chesapeake Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. It includes parts of Maryland and Virginia. The region is characterized by tiny historic towns, meandering creeks, beautiful natural areas, and is an important area as it is a major stop on the flyway for migratory birds each Spring and Fall.
